Tom Duvall is an experienced senior executive and the founder/CEO of Duvall Solutions, LLC, a management consulting firm providing senior level program management. Toms primary focus is on the implementation of operationally-oriented functional and information technology solutions to address business problems ranging from product cost to profitability management to supply chain, operations and logistics matters.
Mr. Duvall also serves as Chairman of two startup companies. WheeLogic Technologies is a technology-based automotive electronics company focused on the use of millimeter wave radars for adaptive cruise control (ACC) products. And Confidential Communication Services is a specialized services firm that assists the Audit Committees of publicly traded companies to implement the anonymous reporting provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
Previously, Mr. Duvall has served as the Chief Operating Officer of two companies: Cayenta, Incorporated, a subsidiary of The Titan Corporation (NYSE: TTN) and the first nationwide Total Solutions Provider (a national network operations center over which Cayentas own managed applications software was accessible to, and through the use of object-based middleware - fully integrated with, their customers own applications to provide a seamless Internet-based service), and Braun Consulting, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRNC), an independent strategy and technology consulting company specializing in customer-focused, revenue-side solutions. At Braun, Mr. Duvall was also a member of the Board of Directors.
Tom began his career at Price Waterhouse and spent 23 years at PW as a professional management consultant. He was a partner in the firm for 12 years; and most recently served as Partner-in-Charge of the Chicago Office Management Consulting Services (MCS) department.
Mr. Duvalls consulting expertise includes both manufacturing and financial functions, operations and systems. And he is an acknowledged expert in the fields of product costing, cost management and profitability analysis. Tom has managed major programs in a wide variety of industrial, systems and financial venues. His clientele over the years has included businesses ranging from startups, to LBOs, to JVs, to Fortune 100 corporations. This includes such well-known companies as Allied-Signal, Amoco, Applied Materials, Bristol-Myers Squibb, British Steel, Cabot Chemicals, Campbells Soup, ConAgra, Emerson Electric, General Electric, General Motors, BF Goodrich, IBP, Kraft Foods, Pillsbury, PPG Industries, SmithKline Beecham, Tenneco, Unilever, USX, Waste Management and Westinghouse.
Mr. Duvalls educational and professional credentials include a B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana Central College (now the University of Indianapolis) and an MBA (with highest distinction) from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Tom also is a Certified Public Accountant (IL) and is further Certified in Management Accounting (CMA), Management Consulting (CMC) and in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). Most recently Tom has attended the Wharton Directors Institute. He is also active in the Corporate Directors Forum of San Diego and the Association for Corporate Growth.
